im trying to reinstall windows xp on my acer aspire one from a usb drive because i do not have the original startup disk. it's telling me the cdrive is corrupt and the boot sector cannot be fixed is there anthing i can do to fix it

How did you create the ISO image used in your pendrive? how did you burn the image into your pendrive? I suggest you do it again following these steps:
