Images will not display

As a photographer you check your work as you go well i do, captured the event love what i got but now its reading cannot display images for some reason 256 images from 370 images will not show but the one at the start has come out and a few at the end so that means i lost hope the middle please help i used canon mk 2 with a 64mb in an cf adopter help me please

Yes, take the CF card out and insert it in a card reader. Save all images to a hard disk on the computer. Then make a backup of the computer (this is just good practice and is not an option).
