I have questions on RAM upgrades as it pertains to my Dell Inspiron 5770.

***What is the max amount of memory I can install?

***Can different size RAM sticks work together?

***Finally, what is the fastest RAM I can put in my Inspiron?

Check this at www.crucial.com.

Generally it is better to use the same RAM in both slots. If you have a dual-channel RAM architecture, it will cause a problem. I believe the system will also access RAM at the speed of the slowest RAM stick. Someone correct me if I am mistaken. RAM is pretty cheap. I would buy two new sticks.
