Hi all ,i need urgent help
i have inspiron 15r n 5110 since 1/2013 corei5/4 giga RAM/1 giga Nvidia card
it's a great laptop
but , recently i have a problem in wireless -win7 32 bit
i can't find the wireless local area connection in the network connections in control panel
i thought it may be a driver issue , so i downloaded this driver from dell drivers http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-15r-n5110?driverId=1K99R&osCode=W764&fileId=2731103263&languageCode=en&categoryId=NI

when i begin to install , it says that i need to enable my bluetooth switch first , note that my wireless led is on but i can't find any indication on the laptop that i have a wireless NIC
please help

Insure that the wireless adapter is turned on by hitting Fn + F2 and then check in the device manager to see if it has a driver. If not, download the Windows 7 driver that you need by entering the service code off your laptop sticker in the Dell support page -- there are many different builds of each model including various wireless modules, so this will get you to the correct one.

thanks for replying
I hit fn+f2 / the wireless led is already ON
in the device manager, under ""network adapters"" i see bluetooth adapter and realtek ethernet adapter
but no wireless adapter
under ""other devices"" , there's a network controller flagged yellow
i tried installing the drivers , 2 were for win 7 32 bit : one of the asks to turn the bluetooth switch on , and the other loads then closes

That flagged controller will be your wireless. If you use your service code at the dell support site you should be able to determine which wireless adapter you have -- only one of the drivers will work, the one for your adapter. Dell also has an automated driver checker on the support site that might help you out.

Is your OS actually 32 bit or 64?

I tried the automated driver checker , didn't work
by my self , i found only two drivers for win 7 32 bit ""my OS""
the 2 of them didn't work as is stated above
