you're better off asking dell customer support. provide proof of ownership when asked.

there is no way to verify you as the legit owner no matter what you tell us. sorry.
@alvine: do not tell people how to bypass password protection. not that your way works, still..

We do NOT provide assistance to override or bypass passwords. We have no way to know if the computer is yours. You wil have to contact the computer manufacturer for assistance and provider proof of ownership.
