Installing an m.2 SSD (MSI PE60 2QE)

I'm looking for some reassurance before I buy the samsung 850 evo m.2 120gb SSD to use for installing the OS on my MSI PE602QE

Am I right in thinking that the m.2 drive slots into the port in the yellow square?
And that to install it i first remove the red screw, and then once it is in place, screw it back in to hold everything in place?

Yes. Make sure it's the long skinny ssd not the shorter fat one.

1 need to find out which m.2 key type it use.
2 find out the length.

samsung 850 evo 512GB m.2 is a B&M Key 2280, so it should work

Hey just wondering, it did say only 256gb but im wondering if the 512gb worked and was compatible with the motherboard?
