Installing Open Office

I have tried numerous times to use the Open Office download and it fails every time on my computer. I have another computer with it installed. Is there any way to copy that installation to my existing computer?

In the process of downloading all I remember is it says it failed and it stops the process.

That's what I have tried numerous times and as it is downloading the failed msg appears.

Not more than a moment ago, you stated that you were using the online installer. I told you to try the offline installer. If you were mistaken and were using the offline installer, then, I suggest you now try the online installer. On the other hand, if you've now tried both, then, might I suggest trying out LibreOffice?

so the download failed. it is a large download, maybe issue is with your connection on this one.
Download the offline installer on the other good computer and copied to this one.
