INTEGRATED laptop battery help

Hi,

Dell is telling me that their integrated batteries are soldered onto the motherboard and I need help.

I want to know if a laptop will work with a power adaptor when its integrated battery is removed.

IF you can safely remove the battery (if soldered, it'll be difficult), most laptops will work via the power brick only.

Which model are you dealing with specifically? Removing an integrated battery is tough

normally yes. what battery as in the main battery or the cmos battery? what is the make & model# of the dell laptop

I am looking at the newest model for Dell's Inspiron 15 7000.

It is a new version. I feel like they would not have soldered it in especially after looking at youtube videos. Anyone have any insights?

battery is not soldered to motherboard but plugs into motherboard.
