Hello, I just started having an issue where games, like Fortnite don't use my Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 graphics card. I have tried everything, I opened up my Nvidia control panel and in 3D settings, I made sure for global settings that Nvidia is selected. As well as program settings, I selected the application Fortnite and made sure my Nvidia GPU is selected. However, when I open the game I can see I have a steady 60 fps (which is what I want) while being in the lobby and in task manager I can see the Nvidia graphics card is being used but when I get into a match, it will switch to the Intel HD graphics 530 and my fps will become very unstable (30-59fps), even with the lowest of settings in the game. I would like to add that I also updated my nvidia driver and I have the latest version.

Nvidia power plan. He goes through the whole lot, from 4:25 he talks about power mode.

Now of course setting power plans to favor more performance will require more power so its best to have it connected to mains power rather then use battery as it will drain a lot quicker.
