Intel i5 and AMD A8 processor

I just purchased a brandnew lenovo laptp with AMD A8 CPU and I also have an Intel i5 CPU from my old laptop.
Can I replace AMD A8 with i5 processor? Are they interhcangeable?

Plus, it's pretty rare that the CPU is interchangeable in the first place anyways.
