Internet explorer HTC 8900

Internet explorer on my htc 8900 is failing to connect to the internet , i have windows mobile 6 on the device . Facebook mobile on the device connects to the internet at one click , i can also download yahoo mail , what can i do to make the explorer connect to the internet

remember opera its for windows mobile....
