I'm finding it so hard to agree with any of this. As a person who's been using an iPhone since 2007 and has more than generally been excited with every iOS release... to me iOS 10 falls flat on its face. The "bigger is better" theme is not working for me (and obviously that's just me). It feels like a clunky mess, the music app is horrible. The new notifications leave a lot to be desired as far as aesthetics go. I feel like Apple has finally run short on Steve Jobs' and Scott Forstalls' brilliance. This entire update wreaks of Android influence and that's just not a good thing. Sorry. I hope iOS 11 gets back to a more streamlined and functional experience.

Under Settings>General>Accessibility>Home Button you can turn on a function allowing you to open the phone by resting your finger on the home button instead of pressing it!
