iPad 1 video download

Does anyone know if a video can be downloaded to an iPad 1 -- a QT (.mov), m4v, f4v or mp4 or mp4 and if so through what app?

Since the iPad 1 can't run the newer iOS versions, best bet to get files to it would be from a computer. Connect with the USB cable, copy using iTunes.

I have the same need, but in addition iTunes doesn't recognize the iPad when I connect it to the PC
