Solved! Ipad wont turn on

So i have had my ipad for a while now, almost 4 years, its an ipad air. And it got dropped and the screen has cracked. i havent managed to get it repaired but then the battery started to go funny on charges, as it dropped 10% instantly and turns off randomly. Now i have used my ipad since last november but its been sitting around and i have kept in charge before but now all it will do is show the low power bar constantly and i cant reset it or anything. is there anything i can do or do i need a new one?

Oh, you definetly need a new one. I read an article the other day that explained why Apple product owners are more likely to drop and damage their devices just before new versions come out. It helps them justify purchasing a new one.
