Iphone 4 Verizon CDMA locked

Hello everyone,

My aunt from US gave me an iphone 4 CDMA few days back which is locked to verizon US . She dint know that , so I wanna know what can be possibly done so that it can be used as an ipod . A thick ipod . No network .

If it still takes a sim card you can just buy one off ebay (not sure if you have an equivalent there) which will let you go through the setup and then you can just turn airplane mode on then wifi back on. Thats what I did with my old ATT iphone
