Bought an iPhone X for next to nothing. The screen had been replaced by someone else. The phone function is hampered by no working video, no speaker audio, no audio on calls. No volume control on side. Volume control- on screen- has a mind of its own. However, when hooked to Bluetooth... all those issues disappear. Logic board? Software? Dirty connection? Just replace the screen again? Give it to my mother for her birthday- because she’d not know the difference? Thanks in advance!

could be the flex from the motherboard to the speakers and button controls. Maybe not connected properly or cracked while reassembling.

Or some more hardware to be defective like the speaker, phone speaker, buttons

What do you mean by "no working video"? Does the screen don´t show a video while playing?

more info, what could have went wrong while replacing the screen:

When I try to pull up a video from photos and watch it, it just stays static. Same thing with YouTube. I can view the site, just can’t play the video. I’ve read about an Audio IC issue? Going to research that today.
