IR Connection Baud rate

Is there any way to view an IR modem connection baud rate? When it's
connected, tapping the arrows icon just displays the connection name and
time connected, not the speed.

You could use a Today plugin like IPDashboard

Upload or download a 1MB file and time it, but don't fall asleep as you
watch the timer... You will find it to be in the 14KB/sec neighborhood, get
a cheapo WiFi card and life changes
