Is AVG free running correctly?

What used to take over an hour to run a full scan in AVG 8.5 only takes about 20 min. in 9.0. Is there something wrong or is the new AVG just that fast?

Everything is set to default.

Default for 9.0 may be different than 8.5. Did you ever adjust the scan settings when using 8.5?

Check to see if full scan covers everything including archives, then run it again. I suspect the time will be closer to 8.5 though still faster.

Some parts of the scanner are listed by AVG to be 50% faster but no reviews support that claim; only noting it to be a little faster than 8.5.

But it runs almost the same in my laptop and I did not change the setting on it either.
