Is it possible to use a G430 as headphones, and a Blue Snowball as a mic?

I have a G430, but the USB adapter doesn't work, so I just use the 3.5mm audio thingy (I am new to audio/headphones, sorry if I don't know the names) I am planning on buying a Blue Snowball in about a week or so. I was wondering if it's possible to use the G430 as headphones, and the Snowball as a mic?

Of course.. just go to Control Panel and Manage Audio Device and select your playback device as the device you want... and on the next tab select your recording device as the device you wish to use.... they do NOT have to be attached.
