Hello!

I brought and customized this laptop myself two year ago, and it has been having issues playing any games at all, since I first got it. Even a game of Chess, I find it to be laggy and unresponsive after opening and closing the application.
I played League of Legend, it start off fine but lag incredible high after a few small particles appears.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz.

Graphic: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M

I wasn't an expert building this laptop, I thought the NVIDIA GPU and CPU would be a perfect fit, but I guess not.

EDIT:
Quick little update, I notice the temperature of the laptop is usually high. It stay stable at 75-80 Temperature.
I think it's more of an overheating problem.
I blew the fan to remove any dust, but that doesn't lower the temperature a bit.

Anything I can do about this?

Hi,

I would suggest doing a clean install of the graphics driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once completely uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed
- After the reboot do also set Nvidia as the default GPU.
- Here's how:nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
