Is my laptop dead?

It's been like a month without my laptop. and for one month it's been doing the same things:
-black screen - not starting at all
-no HDD activity LED
-only power LED is on
-keyboard doesn't do anything
-if i load a dvd it spins it, but still nothing on the screen
-no electric signal going to the mouse, just for less then a second when I plug it in
-the battery LED is working
-no beeps
-no nothing

It's an MSI CR630: AMD Athlon II P340 2.2 GHz dual-core
Integrated ATI Radeon HD 4270
4 GB RAM (3.5 GB usable, 512 MB to the GPU)
500 GB Western Digital Blue HDD

Check the battery and if possible clean the ram with a a soft rubber

The battery is fine and the whole laptop is clean, so cleaning the RAM is quite useless, i think.
