Hi,

I just bought a new laptop for gaming and i saw that the CPU is getting pretty hot and that the fans makes a lot of noises. So i wondered if it is overheating? The temps are 40-50 degres celsius when idle but when i am playing game like csgo or rocket league the temps gets to 75-85 degres should i be worried

PS : my laptop is the ROG GL703 VM with a GTX 1060.

It could seem normal for that type of laptop. I used to have one that ran at 71C and was just fine. If you are getting other problems that is caused from high temps than that is an issue. Otherwise if not then you probably are fine. Laptop fans will sound louder because they are smaller fans spinning faster. Unlike a tower cooler those are bigger fans
Hi

So i figured something i don't know if it's normal but when my fps are higher the temperature gets higher too for example at 250 fps the temperature goes to 85-90 when its 120 fps its 75-80 and 60 fps it more like 60 degrees. The problem is that my laptop can totally take 250 fps but because of the temps it get i don't really want to try it.

Thats because the CPU isn't working as hard on games. Some games limit the frames to 60, So there for the CPU does not always generate as much heat
