Is my Yahoo mail compromised since I've been notified "a successful sign in to your Yahoo account in United States."

Hi,
I've been recently notified via my Yahoo Email for one time with this notification below(I have replaced my real name with XXX). That message notification below was received to my Yahoo Email Today at 1:29 AM.(on Saturday, Mar 19, 2016, local time for Yemen).
However, today in Yemen time zone, on Saturday, Mar 19, 2016, 1:20 AM(local time for Yemen), I only used Google Chrome to try joining to comment on http://www.businessinsider.com/ with using my Yahoo Email.

So, was that notification produced since I tried participating in commenting at http://www.businessinsider.com/ with using my Yahoo Email since I have seen 'United States' in the notification "we noticed a successful sign in to your Yahoo account XXXX from an unrecognized device in United States.", I have never ever been in the US. I always in Yemen while logging in to my Email. Or otherwise, the Timezone for that site "http://www.businessinsider.com/" I participated in commenting in was set to be US.

Hi XXX,

On Fri, Mar 18, 2016 3:29 PM PDT, we noticed a successful sign in to your Yahoo account XXXX from an unrecognized device in United States.

If this was you, you're all set!

If this wasn't you and believe someone may have tried to access your account, please change your password and update your account recovery information.

I would ask - are you on a VPN? Because VPNs can have access points in multiple parts of the world, where a centralized IP is more local. If you logged in on a VPN (coffee shop, internet cafe, etc) and you're not using your own PC, chances are you could have received your message because the VPN had multiple access points.

I have not used VPN at all since I don't like anonymity Online Software. Also, I have not singed in to my Yahoo account to comment in that site. I only used my Yahoo Email since there is an email required.

Thanks a lot,
I have never ever notified with such a message to my Yahoo Email.
I have not singed in to my Yahoo account to comment. I only typed in my Yahoo Email since an Email was required.

You think a log in to my account from the US was really a coincidence.

Bear in mind that my Facebook account associated with my Yahoo Email is compromised since I was no longer able to sign in to it 3 years ago, although I still receive notifications from my Facebook account activity to my Yahoo Email . However, my Yahoo Email is not compromised I think since I am still able to log in to it even although I cannot log in to my Facebook account associated with my Yahoo Email. Even If the my Face book is compromised, then the user who compromised my Facebook account will not be able to compromise my Yahoo Email associated to my Facebook account since Yahoo Email has different username and PW

Thanks a lot again.
I went back to this thread again since I have found out the same thing happened when I have created an account at https://www.zendesk.com/email-ticketing/, and when activated my account while in Yemen, I've gotten this notification message in bold below sent to my Email registered with my helpdesk account.
Although typing the IP: 134.35.22.165 in a browser address bar connected me to my RouterOS v6.18, the country 'US' is not the same country from which I created/activated/logged into my helpdesk account, and is not the same country which is selected while setting up my router in http://134.35.22.165/webfig/

This is strange!!!! I am not using any VPN at all. I am only using own PC and my connected to my own router.

It looks like you signed into your Zendesk account using a new device on May 20 at 02:07:
Location: Federal Way, United States
IP: 134.35.22.165

Even when I logged into my Zendesk account using the Google Chrome, I found out that the US is the country from which I logged into my account, although I logged into my account from Yemen.
