Is the Logitech G35 still worth buying?

I have roughly $130 in-store credit at best buy. What is the best option for a headset or mic/headphones that can be bought at a best buy store? I need them to be usb, because my soundcard is broken. I have so far narrowed it down to the Logitech G35. I know the G35 has been being sold for 6 years, so I was wondering what you guys thought about the Logitech G35.

I used my G35s for just about 3 years, a solid headset without a doubt (though heavy)
Other recommendations from best buy may include the Razer Kraken, or if you wish to spend your own money too, you can get a pair of A40s.

I actually returned a broken pair of the razer kraken 7.1 chroma's to get the in-store credit + I had an extra warranty on it that was refunded, thus giving me the the 130$, I didn't really want to spend on the a40's, so I got the G35.

Solid choice then. I personally bought the G35s over the Kraken.
Now I am running some HyperX cloud IIs as my 35s started to fail me.
