Hi everyone. I am new to Tom's Hardware! Thanks for having me. Hehe.

So to the question, I am planning to get a gaming laptop since ill be traveling a lot, but I am in a budget. I am looking at the MSI GP60 2QE. The specs I am seeing is:

nVidia Geforce GT 940M, 2GB GDDR3
i5-4210H+HM86
DDR III 8GB
500GB (SATA)

How many hard drive slots does this have? I can't see anything about it.

Here in the Philippines, its worth $875. Is there any other laptop worth the same prize?

Thanks everyone!

In the US it seems that Core i5 version of that laptop is selling for $800 - $850.

Based on MSI's product page the laptop can have up to a 128GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. That means there are two drive bays, but the SSD could be using the mSATA or M.2 format. No information is provided so you would need to refer to the manual / open it up to determine that for yourself.

Since countries / regions have different laptops it is kinda hard to recommend an alternative since it may not be available in your country. For example, the least expensive laptop sold in the US with a GeForce 940m is the ASUS X555LB-NS51 for $570. It only has 1 drive bay.

So i have the same laptop as you (MSI GP60 2QE) with the only difference being our processor and hdd size and i can tell you that it runs the game fine(DOTA: i didnt check others)

Here you can check to confirm my answer --> http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1249&game=DOTA%202&p_make=Intel&gc_make=Nvidia&p_deriv=Core+i5-4210H+2.9GHz&gc_deriv=GeForce+940M+2GB&laptop=1#systemRequirements

And here is the comparison of our Processor --->http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4720HQ-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4210H

Hope this helps!
