Hello, my name is Ilija.
A month ago I went on a gig and got myself Tinnitus, bummer but I'm getting over it slowly.
I want to be careful about my hearing from now on.
What I'm wondering is, is there a windows software that can measure the decibel level of something I'm listening to on my headphones.
For instance if I put on a song and turn it up to a certain level the application says 80dB.
If there is please post a link of it or something.
Thank you

Hi
The only way to measure the loudness of your headphones would be to use something like this, though you would need to put foam or something around the head to seal it to the headphone.
www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-633937-Sound-Level-Meter/dp/B0015NSTLI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411222116&sr=8-1&keywords=sound+level+meter
Any db level would also depend on the hardware.
At a particular level on the Windows volume slider, these headphones may be putting out 80db, while those 'phones may be putting out 68db.
