Is there any 'Magic Lantern' type firmware for Nikon?

I have a Nikon D5100, and I was wondering whether there is any third party firmware like 'magic lantern' for nikon?

It is rumored that a hack for Nikon cameras is in the works:

I may be mistaken but right now it appears to be just rumors about a firmware hack for Nikon cameras.
