Is this a good gaming laptop?

Looking to buy a gaming laptop, and I wonder if MSI laptops are good enough, like the one below for example.

My budget is not more than £800.

I think you are confused. The laptop has 8gb of DDR3.
The gpu has 2gb of GDDR3.
I think it is a good laptop, but always with gaming laptops watch out for high temps.
What games are you looking to play and at what settings?
Btw 8GB of ram is the sweet spot for gaming.

I'm not sure of any laptop that can handle high end games on Ultra/Super High setting very well at all. If I remember correctly the 840m is a decent/higher end laptop GPU. I think it would be a good a laptop for gaming.
