Is Windows Defender & Windows Firewall enough???

Greetings!

I'm on Windows 8.1 and surf using Firefox with Adblock Plus, I NEVER click on random links, nor do i visit untrusted websites.



Would Windows defender/firewall be enough protection for someone like me?

Yeah, you'll be fine as long as your careful. Though I'd still download the free malwarebytes from malwarebyes.com and run a scan every now and then.

I've heard a lot about malwarebytes, I just googled it and couldn't find a malwarebytes.com, i found a .org link however...is that the one you meant?

Yes. The .org site is the place to get it from.

Just be sure to unclick the "Install trial version" when attempting install, which, if left checked, would install the full version, set to expire after 30 days; you want the free version, presumably.
