issues after replacing motherboard

I just replaced the motherboard on by Dell XPS 15 laptop. After this replacement, no other external hardware component works. No USB port works, the web cam does not work. I cannot even do a fresh windows install since the USB port does not work. Any pointers to why this is happening? Have already tried updating drivers, switching USB on and off in BIOS.

Did you replace the motherboard yourself? If so have you made sure it's the exact same model that is meant for your unit? Following up on that, have you made sure to reverse all the steps you took when disassembling the laptop and it's corresponding connections?

I got this done at a nonauthorized service center. It's a pretty old laptop so parts at the authorized service center are hard to find.
