It wont start up

Its a ASUS K50 laptop that has a bootup problem...
It happend to me 2 hours ago when i came back from work. It wont start saying

. And when i tried reinstalling windows with USB it said

. The harddisk is readable in the bios i mean it says the model the capacity and everything but it won't start up... Any suggestions ? Is the HardDisk dead or is something alse?

The info from the HDD is available from the firmware. That does not mean the HDD is healthy; suggest to boot from a CD or DVD with some HDD diagnostics loaded on it.

Umm i can't use installed software.. Any diagnostics like hirens or something ?

Umm it seems like its not holding memory... Mini XP works, Lubuntu installed but on restart its gone... :A
