Java Programming Software

Is there any free Java programming software that I can start practicing coding on?

Netbeans, eclipse, jgrasp, jcreator. Both netbeans and eclipse are large IDEs that a lot of people use, eclipse has a steeper learning curve so if this is your first time working with programming software/programming in general might want to go with netbeans. Jcreator and Jgrasp are lighter and don't come with all the bells and whistles but they work good and are straight forward.
