Hi, I have a Sony HC9 handycam and after a few minutes of operation, the screen will start to jitter. I noticed that if I tilt the camera to the right, it stops. But if I tilt it to the left, the jittering returns. Could there be a loose connection?
I bought it from a different country and I think the warranty is already over. I did send it to my local Sony Center Repair but all they said was that the ribbon cable needs replacing. If that said part was available online, I would replace it myself

Parts aren't for sale anywhere, at least not from the manufacturers. You'll end up getting a used cable that might not even work properly.
That camera is already a decade old and wasn't even that good when it came out! Let it die in peace, and get a replacement camera. You can find models with better specs for $200
I can still use it, but I have to keep rolling it to the right. It's not as good as it once was. Thanks to you, at least I have closure on this camera.
