just bought a Samsung SMX-C20RN camcorder from the net have some questions

hello jusy ordered a used but working Samsung SMX-C20RN standard deff camcorder. i noticed on samsungs website they released an updated firmware my question is how do i tell if the firmware on the camera has already been updated or not? i contacted the sller and he has no idea if it has been updated or not this is my first samsung camcorder

To check on the firmware, need to go through the menus on the camera, and there will be one with the information.

Look on page 83 of the user manual and you will see the instructions for finding out the firmware (software) version that is installed.

1. Press the Control button
2. Press the up or down arrow key until you see Version
3. Press the OK button
4. Press the Menu button to exit the menu
