I have an Acer Aspire 7750G laptop.
This bug came up about 1 week ago. One possible cause can be that I've been using an external keyboard every now and then? Although I have done that for almost a year and this never happened.
Pictures are done with Keyboard Jedi, it displays what you press.

This bug also happens when I start the PC in Safemode.

Some examples:
When I press F4, it will register F4 AND F5. Picture: http://i.imgur.com/DJsNUVI.png
When I press F3, it will register F2 AND F3. Picture: http://i.imgur.com/5DWEAtT.png

When I press Numpad Divide, it will register Numpad Divide AND Numpad Addition. Picture: http://i.imgur.com/Xhk4CF0.png
[Just using ctrl to make it display]

Pressing CTRL+ESC will register CTRL+F1 and CTRL+ESC. Picture: http://i.imgur.com/cvrwsl6.png
On top of this, Shift+8 and Shift+9 reigsters no input whatsoever.

There are also some keys that register only one input, though completely wrong.
Pressing 9 will press F10, then 9, then F10 and so forth.
The same as above happens with 6[F6] and 8[F7].
The ESC key only registers as F1. And F1 itself is correct.

So as you can see, these errors appear on everything but the alphabetic characters.

It's in Norwegian, but that doesn't matter.

The keyboard setup is also correct in Regional and Language settings.

My question is this, is it software or is it hardware?
I was looking into reinstalling the drivers for the keyboard, but I'm not even sure if that is possible.. Couldn't find drivers for it on Acers homepage.

If you need more info just ask.

Not that I can remember.
If that is the case though, does that mean the keyboard is ruined?
I'll try to remove the keys and clean the keyboard carefully.

if that's not the problem then sorry to say, but I have no idea.
It might have something to do with hot-keys? that's the only thing I can really think of.
I'd try double checking over all your software and if that doesn't work try ringing up customer service and see if that helps.

Sorry that I can't be of that much help, but if external keyboards still work then you should be fine until you can properly fix the problem.
