Keyboard keys not working correctly

i have hp mini notebook(JAPNESE)fns like ":}|{) ^& sterik are not working on the required buttons???

activate 'on screen keyboard" from windows 7 and see what key is asigned to those keys. Maybe you have a different languege set in windows
