Keyboard not working

My keyboard lights up and I can change the colors of the lights but once booted up I can't type unless using on the screen keyboard

I will be happy to assist you here. The problem you are experiencing is like that your keys don't work like (e.g. Ctrl+F4 and some others). You can only use keyboard keys when you are typing right. You can say you might have to give it to hardware shop to fix the problem.

It looks likely the problem is a hardware problem. You could try reseating the keyboard cable, if this doesn't work a keyboard replacement may be needed. This is a fairly simple procedure for most laptops.
