keyboard problems on asus laptop+

my a,d,f,j,k,l, and ';' do not type on my keyboard. I also cannot use the numeric keypad. i have to use the on screen keyboard to make those characters. I have asus U56E.

Anything happen to the laptop like a liquid spill?
If the keyboard got damaged somehow, you will need it replaced. Not an easy repair on those.
