Kodak Easyshare Mechanical Problems.

I Have a Kodak Easyshare camera. The Lens Will Not Stay retracted. I Power The camera Off And The Lens Will retract And Come Right Back Out. A Message On The Screen Reads " Lens Obstructed" And then Turns Off.
Any One Know of the solution of this Problem?

It will go back out because its hitting an obstruction trying to go in. It needs to be pulled apart and air blown out. If it's like my cameras - dead in a drawer - its got sand in it which you can't blow out. In that case, add it to your drawer because throwing it in the bin will be admitting defeat. Then get another one when your missus isn't looking. Happy all round!
