Solved! KVM Switch and Monitor

Hello all.

I am working with a PWAY HDMI USB2.0 KVM Switch 2 port. It works fine most of time ... however, at times one of the monitors doesn't seem to register on either my Dell Laptop or my McBook Mini. On the Display settings on my Dell, it recognizes the monitor, but the monitor is still in 'wait' mode.

Standalone the monitor works fine. Is there a trick to getting consistency w/ a KVM switch and monitors? Thanks.

You would need a high end KVM to ensure it works better. It can also be an issue if one of the system is off when the KVM is uses with the other one. See if both systems are turned on, then try to swap between them, see how that works.
