Laggy/stutterish Adobe Creative cloud

Hello,

i work daily with up-to-date adobe creative cloud software such as illustrator, indesign and photoshop. I both use it on a hardware-wise mediocre imac at work and on a high end Windows 10 PC at home.

What puzzles me, is the fact that all these programs run smoothly on the imac but not on pc.
On pc there's this stutterish/laggy feeling when placing objects, zooming in and out, opening menus etc etc.

Is adobe cc just poorly optimized for windows? Especially Indesign and illustrator feel so laggy on the PC.

Might be insufficient RAM.

Officially recommended amount of installed RAM for those three Adobe CC apps is 8GB:

The home pc which i am referring to is the one listed in my signature. So that would be 32gb of ram.

Have you checked to see what else may be running in the background on the PC? Maybe something has become a memory hog.
