Laptop Black Screen

Removed the old thermal paste from my cpu/gpu today, added new stuff and when i went too turn my (acer 5755g) laptop on, the screen stays back and the cpu fan spins for a sec then turns off again.

I can plug stuff into the usb and it seems to power things.

Any ideas thanks?

Hi, you have not removed your CPU, and forget to lock it. You will have to open the laptop to verify all the connections.

try reset your cmos battery, by holding the power button for 30 second.

got it gixed guy, was something too do with the ram chips thank you
