Laptop blank screen

Hi, I have HP g6-2302ax laptop all of a sudden when i started laptop its showing blank screen with caps lock light blinking every 3-4 seconds non stop, f12 light orange.side power light white & no HDD light.tried to hard reset didn't work.it won't shutdown until I remove the battery & ac adapter,anything I can try at home to fix this

It may be started then but just not showing the screen. Try turning it off, plugging in an external monitor, turning on the external monitor and then turn on the laptop. If you can see the screen there, then the laptops display / connections is your problem.
