Laptop can't detect graphics card properly after system format

I formatted my hp pavilion dv6 laptop to a fresh copy of windows 7 64 bit and I think it might have caused issues with the graphics card. I tried installing the latest drivers from amd and even tried installing beta drivers but none of it works because it keeps failing with this error (screen shot). The laptop has a mobility 5650 and it shows wierd values in gpu-z. Heres a screen shot. (image) It also shows a yellow triangle in the device manager next to Mobility HD 5000 series. Please help! Thank you so much in advance!

If there is a yellow triangle in the device manager then your drivers are most likely still not right. First thing I would try is follow this tutorial on clean installing drivers:

I tried it and it still didn't work. I ended up with the same error above when installing the display driver. Please help 🙁

Well i managed to fix it by getting drivers from hp and not from the amd drivers page. Silly me. Thanks glamdringfh for responding! This thread can be deleted now!
