Laptop CPU is running very hot

Hi,

So I noticed that my fan was almost always running at medium-high speeds and my laptop's still hot so I ran Speccy to...well look at my specs, specifically CPU Heat. According to Speccy, my CPU is running on average 85-90 C and sometimes up to 95 C. I know that's not normal (especially when the temperature's in red), so is there anything I can do to bring the temp down?

OS: Win 8 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Intel i5 460M @2.53 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
Motherboard: Acer Aspire 5742
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000

Many times the internal fins for dissapating heat become plugged with dust and lint. I would get a can of compressed air and blow them out from the vent holes in the laptop
