I have been looking to get a laptop for the wife, unfortunately there is little to no info on laptop cpu's . TH guide for cpu laptops is so old and doesnt show 99% of today's cpu's
When I google, nothing really comes up either

I have been looking at 3 cpu's
Intel t3400
Intel 6400
AMD Turion X2 RM-72

I think the t3400 is by far the slowest but the t6400 vs. the turion im guessing is pretty close.
Anyone know where I can get some real info on what cpu would be better?
In the end all would probably be ok, mainly used for internet, battery life doesnt matter either, It will usually be plugged in

i spend many days searching info of the turion x2 RM-72 and at last i found something:
- the RM-72 is release on 2008 unlike the TL-XX. and the RM-72 works like a turion ultra (much better)
so all the comparisons between tl``s and C2D are not a balid reference to see RM performance.

I wanted to know how well works RM-72 with c2d T6400 or T5800 as reference.

i saw that the things were upside down.

see this:

Thanks for this info! I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to compare the RM-72 with another Intel CPU. The link to cpubenchmark.net helped me immensely!
