So I have a Toshiba Satellite C50-A-03D laptop which uses a Intel Celeron 1005M CPU and I've been considering upgrading the CPU to something newer/powerful (both in term of CPU processing power and in terms of the Integrated graphics), from what I've been able to find the Intel Celeron is a socket G2 (rPGA988B) CPU and is not soldered in (although I could be mistaken). The processors I'm considering upgrading it to are: an Intel Core i7-3540M, or an Intel Core i7-3632QM, or an Intel Core i5-3380M, or lastly an Intel Core i7-3940XM. Now from what cpu world has to say the TDP and Maximum operating temperature are all equal for the first four processors (the TDP for the Intel Core i7-3940XM is 55 watts instead of 35 watts). So now my questions are: would the motherboard In my Toshiba Satellite C50-A-03D be able to supply enough watts to these processors for them to operate effectively? and which of the four processors would you recommend for me to upgrade to if any? Thanks in advance.
