Laptop deleting images!

Please help.. my sony viao suddenly won't show new pictures I take on my san disc memory card, and in fact deletes them. I can view the pictures on another computer or on my camera but once I put the memory card in my viao laptop it "get angry'' and deletes the pictures completely!.

Virus would be my best guess to. I have never really seen a laptop get "angry" before.

Thanks for your responses.. I was really scared my camera or memory cards had developed some fault because I kept getting "folder contains no images"!. I think my laptop card reader driver may be faulty. When I view my pictures on another computer everything is perfect.Just in case anyone else has this problem and like me started to think it could be a the camera or memory card, try viewing on another computer.
