Laptop Disc Drive Replacement

I would like to replace my DVD drive in my laptop with a Blu-ray disc drive. Any recommendations on what to get?

It'sd best to remove the existing drive and take it with you when you go shopping for a new one. Make sure the dimensions are identical or it may not fit. Check the bezel because the push button and LED light might not be in the right positions. You may have to do without a bezel.

To remove the drive, find a screw on the underside of tthe laptop about two inches in from the centre of the drive. Remove the screw and gently pull the drive out using a fingernail.
