Hello all!
So I recently cleaned my computer, and took it apart, dusted the fans, etc.
After putting it all back together, it didn't boot. Charging LEDs come on, but the instant I press the power button all the LEDS flash once and it shuts off.
Here's the odd bit. It boots fine with the internal display disconnected. It boots fine, and I just use the HDMI output.
By internal display, I mean the largish plug that runs to the monitor. I assume it's the display?
What would this be? I doubt it's a power failure, and all the components work fine, just that it doesn't even POST or go into BIOS with the internal display plugged in.
Batteries work fine, again, it runs fine just not with the monitor pluigged in.
For the specs, it's a Toshiba Satellite L650D, Phenom X4 @ 1.8Ghz, 128GB SSD, 2x4Gb Ram, Insyde H20 BIOS (I think) and a 5650M. Rather old, maybe ~6 years? Not sure.
Any help would be very much appreciated,
Cheers.
